Dear heavenly Father. We pray that we will be able to process our misunderstandings with one another knowing that whatever we are going through is only part of the journey among family members and/or friends. A lot of times, the hurt caused was not intentional. A lot of times, it was an oversight. Remind us, dear Father, that we humans do make mistakes and only in realizing and forgiving others, are we able to move on towards your heavenly kingdom... for we too make mistakes... as Jesus taught us to say, "forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sinned against us". May we learn for our experiences with one another and grow from it with deeper understanding of our bond with those around us. May we delight in responding well to the unpleasant situation presented before us, and take pride in the amount of humility it took to forgive. Lord Jesus, teach us your ways. Amen.
