Trust (A Matter Of Trust)

.
On the matter of trust --- It's not that we 'Do' or 'Do NOT' Trust. Trust does not have to be absolute in the extremes of 'Trust' & 'Do-Not-Trust'. There is such a thing as a 'Level Of Trust' where you 'Trust-More' or you 'Trust-Less'. There is also the 'in what' to trust. I may trust you in ironing my shirt, but I trust ME more in cleaning the insides of my ear. Do I have to trust you in cleaning my ear? Well, maybe if I've got no choice than I'll have to. In the meantime, I'm not going to let you clean the insides of my ear --- even if I do trust you.

Bible Quote ~ If You Can Be Trusted With Little

Luke 16:10-12
NIV (New International Version)

[10] Whoever can be trusted with very little, can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.

[11] So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?

[12] And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own?

Here's my take on the word 'Trust'. If I am to understand the bible correctly (see quote above, Luke 16:10-12), we're suppose to 'Trust' a person with small things first, and then slowly progress to bigger things. It looks like 'Trust' has to be earned. An example would be trusting a child to cross the road. Ultimately we trust that the child will be able to do it... eventually... but we need to monitor the child with the smaller stuff first like, can he walk steadily, is he mindful of saftety in a not-so-dangerous place, if he is not tall enough for the driver to see... will he wait and walk with someone taller, etc.

Here's what else I have to say about 'Trust'. [Click Here]

Computer Kids Of Today

Computer & kids of today. What are we getting into? As technology progresses, we fall behind in knowing how to handle this new technology. Definitely NOT boring. On the contrary, it poses quite a challenge and makes life exciting. It inspires creativity. It provides an adventure. With challenges like this, we don't need Extreme Sports, we don't need to climb Mount Everest & we certainly don't need to Bungee Jump. We just need to be creative. It's just like playing a computer game, and the game's not over... yet.

Maths ~ L Shape Formula ~ by Henry Seet

This Blog is dedicated to the Man who helped me and my sibling in Mathematics. Thank-you Uncle Henry.

Here's a maths formula I used extensively during my GCE 'O' Level Exams. Me and my sibling weren't very good in mathematics so we needed tuition. A neighbour and family friend of our parents agreed to tutor us although his profession was an Accountant. As far as I can remember, this was the only main formula we needed to do all the mathematics problems during our GCE 'O' Level. It made us seem like we were very good in our Maths and the envy of our friends.

Here's the formula:

Here's sample as an example:

Sample Question:
If the actual cost of a dress is $500 but is sold at $200, what is the percentage of it's new cost when compared to it's actual cost?

Sample Answer:
