There was a Vegetarian Hawker at the Coffee Shop near my place that cook these but since the Coffee Shop closed down he stopped selling.
I searched the internet and this is the first place I found.

..... 1) Rendang Vegetarian Mutton Going for a simple n easy dish....A beautiful appetizing dried curry or rendang vegetarian mutton. The vegetarian mutton is a product of well seasoned mushroom stems which is obtainable from the vegetarian grocery shop or at the frozen rack at the hypermarket. I have been exploring how to cook the dried curry without using onions and glad that I have it done perfectly using blended cabbage as an alternate to give it a thick sweet taste. Yeah..I have found it! I learnt it from a friend who is superb in preparing vegetarian dishes. All you need : a packet of vegetarian mutton half boiled potatoes - cut into cubes 2 tomatoes - cut into wedges 1/4 piece of cabbage - blanched till soft and blend 4 Tbs curry powder for meat 2 sprig of curry leaves 100 ml milk Simple Process : 1. Lightly pan fried the vegetarian mutton in oil - set aside 2. Mix the curry powder with the blended cabbage 3. Heat the wok with a little oil and saute the curry powder mixture and the curry leaves till aromatic 4. Add in the milk, half boiled potato, salt to taste and allow it to simmer till potato soften 5. Add in the fried vegetarian mutton and stir well into the mixture, add the tomatoes 6. Ready to serve Have an Enjoyable & Healthy Meal! |

..... 2) Dry Curry Vegetarian Fish Here comes an aromatic dry curry vegetarian fish. We just love eating vegetarian fish which is made of beancurd and wrap with seaweed. It is healthy to eat and also an added variety to the meals served. A simple and fast to prepare dish for the family and good for lazy mum like me. A little spicy though and very appetizing to go with steam white rice. The most essential ingredients for this dry curry is the curry leaves which gives a wonderful aroma to the dish. All you need : A piece of the vegetarian fish (made of beancurd wrapped with seaweed), a small packet of the fish curry powder, 2 onions, 2 sprigs of curry leaves, 2 tomatoes, 5 ladies fingers. Simple Process : Mixed the curry powder with the blended onion. Saute the curry paste together with curry leaves till aromatic, add 1/2 bowl water, salt, a little sugar to taste. Add in the cut tomatoes, ladies fingers, cut onion rings and allow it to simmer till ladies fingers has soften. Pour it over the lightly fried vegetarian fish. Wow....An appetizing dish, Fast to cook n Delicious to Eat!! Enjoy Your Meal! |
