Same face, different hair-styles creates a variety of effects on the face... creates a variety in life. Don't do it if you want to blend in and NOT be noticed. Do it if you want to stand-out in a crowd. Don't do it too often because others will come to expect it and that would spoil the element of surprise, along with the difficulty to keep-up with the changes, not forgeting also --- how much it will cost.
