Eat With Your Family Day

Just received this email from our Company HR. Seems like a good idea.

Dear colleagues,

We wish to inform you that Our Company supports “Eat With Your Family Day 2011”. Held on 27 May 2011 (Friday), this event is organized by the Centre for Fathering.

As in previous years, all Bosses are encouraged to allow your team/staff to participate in this initiative.

This may mean:

-       Releasing staff at 5.00pm

-       Not scheduling official meetings/ appointments on the evening of 27 May 2011.

If your team members/ staff have to be scheduled for shift work as required in our business, do encourage them to observe this at another appropriate time as warranted... eg. during lunch.

And to all employees who are fathers, we would like to urge you to participate in this meaningful event by

1.            Inviting the family to a dinner treat

2.            Preparing a dish for the family

3.            Doing a personalized service for the family.
