The comment after this Bible Quote was quite funny...
... but it did trigger some thoughts...
... I sometimes feel like the man that fell out the window... and...
... sometimes I feel like Paul who is talking but no one's listening....

Bible Quote:
Acts 20:7-12 (New International Version)
Eutychus Raised From the Dead at Troas
7 On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight. 8 There were many lamps in the upstairs room where we were meeting. 9 Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead. 10 Paul went down, threw himself on the young man and put his arms around him. "Don't be alarmed," he said. "He's alive!" 11 Then he went upstairs again and broke bread and ate. After talking until daylight, he left. 12 The people took the young man home alive and were greatly comforted.

The man who fell out of a window ~ Acts 20:7–12
A dull thud: they all look round: where Eutychus had been is now an empty hole with a gentle breeze blowing through it. They charge downstairs: sure enough, an inert figure lies in the dust. They gather round; he seems dead – no breath, no pulse. Then Paul pushes through and, without ceremony, grabs him and hauls him up. Eutychus blinks, looking dazed and confused. 'He's all right!' shouts Paul – and everyone sighs with relief.
'What happened?' 'Why did you fall?' 'Were you pushed?' 'When you were … you know … did you see any angels?'
Eutychus looks sheepish: 'I don't remember anything, I just fell asleep!' Rather embarrassing! Nothing very heroic about it. At least Luke is honest: 'There were many lamps … and Paul kept talking, on and on.'
You probably would have fallen asleep too! What, when the apostle Paul was preaching? The disciples even fell asleep when Jesus was praying before the crucifixion! There is a time to sleep and a time to wake. We often get it the wrong way round. Let's seek to be alert when we need to be – and, if need be, ask God to help us discern when we need to rest and when we need to stay awake!

My thoughts:
The One Who Talks While Other Sleeps ~ by PGA
I sometimes feel like the man that fell out the window while sleeping...
... and sometimes I feel like one who is talking, but no one is listening.
... and sometimes I feel like one who is talking, but no one is listening.
There are many people journeying with us in our lives...
... people given to us by God to love, by way of a family...
... be it father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister or guardian...
... people we choose to be in our ever growing circle of friends,
... or the person we choose as our future partner in life -- our spouse.
There will be times when we don't see eye to eye of some issues...
... there will be times when THEY are unable to see what we see....
... and there will be times when WE are unable to see what they see.
What we say to them may seem boring... to them... for now...
... but believe me, with patience, they will come around...
... either they will come around... or we will come to realize...
... that we may have been wrong in the first place... and WE...
... WE will ALL come around... BUT in the meantime...
... let US continue to love one another... for that is what LOVE is.
