Prayer For ~ Straining Family Ties
Dear Lord, we pray for these families who come into our minds..those who are experiencing strains in their relationships with one another within their family..perhaps a father is not understanding his son's actions..perhaps a daughter hates her mother working all the time..perhaps grandparents are favouring their grandchildren, making it difficult for a common set of discipline to be set in place by the parents..perhaps spouses are finding each other's presence odd and no longer communcating with one another..perhaps one is stressed by financial situations versus the financial needs of the family..perhaps there is someone with a special need living in this family..perhaps one family member is experiencing depression and causing arguments and quarrels within the family..perhaps someone has just been retrenched or faced with retirement or medical condition within the family..teach us not to pray FOR, but also to pray WITH them..for God heart is touch when he hears from a group of people.. Amen.
