SunnyHills believes in making honest-to-goodness food. The founders poor their hearts into creating delectable pineapple cakes only form the tastiest natural ingredients with no need for any additives.
It starts with a special variety of pineapples. On the red-earthed farms of Bagua mountain a high sun beats down all year round. Here, native pineapples, in their indigenous habitat, get sun-basked to a natural ripening. Their fruit is veined through with fibre, and robust with a taste and texture that is truly unique to this land. A patient simmering turns these pineapples into a golden paste-sweet or piquant, retaining flavours of the seasons.
The pastry is simply New Zealand grass-fed butter, fine Japanese flour, and the most premium plump-yoked eggs, each one TAP-certified and traceable to its origin. These unique ingredients together with our baker's 50 years of expertise complete this authentic recipe.
We call this creation Sunny Delights.
