Mileage Formula

Formula [Mileage]:
Mileage (Km/L) = (This Full Tank ODO – Last Full Tank ODO) ÷ This Full Tank Litre

~~~
This Full Tank ODO – Last Full Tank ODO:
= Distance Traveled since last fill-up.
~~~
This Full Tank Litre:
= How much Litre of petrol since last fill-up.
~~~
Distance Traveled ÷ This Full Tank Litre:
= Mileage (Km/L) of car since last fill-up
~~~

If...
This Full Tank Litre ► Distance Traveled
                  1L ► 1L x Distance Traveled ÷ This Full Tank Litre
                     = Mileage

Therefore...
(1926km - 1616km) ÷ 30.39L = 10.10Km/L (Our Car's Mileage)

~~~
~~~
Formula [1L = $?]:

As of 2010 Oct 29,
1L = $1.83 (this is found on the receipt)
For easy calculation...
1L = $2

Formula [1Km = $?]:

As of 2010 Oct 29,
1L = $1.83 (this is found on the receipt)
For easy calculation...
1L = $2

Our Car's Mileage = 10Km/L

L Shape Formula
10Km ► 1L ► $2
 1Km ► 1Km x $2 ÷ 10Km
Therefore
1Km = $0.20

Poem ~ Ode to Drowning ~ by Tishani Doshi

Ode to Drowning ~ by Tishani Doshi
Inspired Poems, October 2008
.
"For there is no love
without music
No rain
.
without peacocks
perched
in branches
.
of sandalwood trees
with plumes
of angels
.
and voices of thieves
pleading for their loves
to return "
.
~~~
I might have a clue to what it means,
but it'll probably NOT be what the poet intended.
.
Here's my take...
It's about a person who has led a negative life... for example...
a criminal, a selfish person, a rebellious teen or a former atheist.
.
In the first stanza...
"no love without music, no rain without peacocks perched in branches..."
He suddenly finds that his life has no happiness and is full of regret.
.
In the last stanza...
"and voices of thieves pleading for their loves to return"
... he hopes that the people he loves (or God) will forgive him.
