Responsorial Psalm
Psalm 145:7-10

[R/.]
My soul, give praise to the Lord.

[V1]
It is the Lord who keeps faith for ever,
who is just to those who are oppressed.
It is he who gives bread to the hungry,
the Lord, who sets prisoners free.

[V2]
It is the Lord who gives sight to the blind,
who raises up those who are bowed down,
the Lord who loves the just,
the Lord, who protects the stranger.

[V3]
The Lord upholds the widow and orphan,
but thwarts the path of the wicked.
The Lord will reign for ever,
Zion's God from age to age.

Perfromance notes:

Note... in the response... the Alleluia is optional.
It's written in the piano score (like real, now writing piano score... cannot play but can write... LOL).
You can sing it either...

Option 1 ~ My soul give praise to the Lord. My soul give praise to the Lord.

Option 2 ~ My soul give praise to the Lord. Alleluia! My soul give praise to the Lord.

Option 3 ~ My soul give praise to the Lord. Alleluia! My soul give praise to the Lord. Alleluia!.

Option 4 ~ Or you can let the choir sing the 2 Alleluia!s in harmony while you hold on the word 'Lord' with the congregation.
