Bounce Back In Life's Uncertainties

This is an old news (2007) but read how she takes so well.
This story is a good example of how to bounce back in life's uncertainties.
This is the only way to stop that person from hurting you... it may take time but everyone can do it.

Quote from Noelene, Paul Hogan's 1st Wife after their divorce:
"I had him when he was young, virile and handsome.
He's still got a good butt and good legs but
she's got him in older times when all he wants to do
is sit around the house and not go out.
I was the one who had the best years of his life".

Paul Hogan and ex-wife Noelene
celebrated their son's wedding in Sydney

ONE of Australia's ugliest celebrity divorces seemed forgotten yesterday when Paul Hogan and ex-wife Noelene celebrated their son's wedding in Sydney.

On a hot afternoon, a proud Hogan, 68, and his US wife Linda Kozlowski joined about 200 guests at the Harbord Diggers club to watch his eldest son, Scott, marry his long-term partner Saran.

After the ceremony, the Crocodile Dundee star, Kozlowski and a beaming Noelene happily posed for family photos and appeared relaxed in each other's company.

It was a scene that many thought would never happen.

Hogan and Noelene were one of Australia's best-loved couples.

They had five children together and were seen as the perfect family.

But their 30-year marriage came to a very public and messy end when Hogan left her for his much younger Crocodile Dundee co-star, Kozlowski.

Hogan married Kozlowski in 1990 and the couple now have a nine-year-old son, Chance.

Noelene said after the divorce: "I had him when he was young, virile and handsome. He's still got a good butt and good legs but she's got him in older times when all he wants to do is sit around the house and not go out. I was the one who had the best years of his life".

But, at their son's laid-back northern beaches wedding, the hatchet between Hogan and Noelene certainly seemed buried.

Hogan, who flew from his Los Angeles home to attend the nuptials, drank beer and mingled with guests while Kozlowski, 49, stood by his side.

"It was lovely," Hogan told The Sunday Telegraph of the wedding. "They're just great kids."

Noelene was in typical mother of the groom mode, directing guests and arranging photographs. She was thrilled to see the couple wed, describing the day as beautiful.

Scott and Saran already have a daughter, Rani, who was christened in July at the St Phillip Neri Catholic Church at Northbridge.

Hogan couldn't make the trip from his US home for the christening but was determined to attend his son's wedding in Sydney.

Hogan was dressed in smart casual attire, wearing a crisp white shirt and beige pants, perfect for the relaxed wedding.

His wife and ex-wife also glammed up for the occasion. Kozlowski wore a figure-hugging, knee-length silver dress while Noelene wore a floor-length, royal blue frock.

The bride was stunning in a floor-length gown, while Scott wore a traditional tuxedo.

"He won the lottery, my boy," Hogan said. "You couldn't knock the smile off her face with a stick. She's one of those people that laughs and smiles everywhere she goes and is always glad to see you. She's good for him, he's very lucky."

Hogan was all smiles at the wedding and didn't seem fazed by the $300m tax investigation that has already seen music promoter and manager Glenn Wheatley jailed.

The actor and businessman has consistently insisted that he has nothing to hide.

Hogan, the most famous rigger to work on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, started his showbiz career in the early 1970s with the comedy sketch program The Paul Hogan show. The series ran from 1973 to 1984. His movie career never soared the same heights as when the original Crocodile Dundee movie hit cinemas in 1986.

Although the sequels to the hit movie were successful, his other unrelated films bombed at the box office. They included Flipper and Almost An Angel.

Hogan will spend the next few weeks in Australia.
