White Board Marker Rule ~ Ignite the Light Bulb
If you're having a problem with ink not flowing while you
are using the White Board Marker on a White Board,
just use this simple rule of gravity which is to angle
your Marker downward so that the ink can freely flow.
===.
I've learnt that...
for ink to flow from the marker to the the white board,
you'll have to angle your pen downwards when you write.
Same with life... "Go with the flow".

Poster ~ Stop The Feeding
===.===.===.===.===.===.===.===.===.===.
Update: 2012 Jun 26, 1733hrs
Actually they have a better poster which I found at the AMK Town Council Website.... which is much better.
Just for the record, from my observation... the animal feeders in AMK actually DO Practice Responsible Feeding. I've seen these animal feeders feed the cats and wait till the cats have finished... and then clean up whatever food was left behind.
Anyway... this poster is much better than the one in my 'Initial Post:' dated '2012 Jun 26, 1057hrs'.

Initial Post: 2012 Jun 26, 1057hrs
The poster says:
"Stop the feeding! Make the estates a better living environment for all. When you feed pigeons and strays, the left-over food attracts pests that will carry with them bacterial harmful to the environment. Our dream home, keep it clean and green."
My questions are:
• Could we have a poster on 'Responsible Feeding' instead?
• Would it make a difference if those who feed the animals practice responsible feeding by waiting there and clearing the food that the animals leave behind?
It's like... I think it would be foolish to prevent road accidents by preventing everyone from leaving their homes.

The Poster
The poster here is the one I saw pasted on a pillar in an AMK Multi-storey Car-park is an old A4-size photostatted copy. Sorry for the poor quality... I'm not familiar with my camera and am not good at taking pictures. I've managed to take close-ups so hopefully, you can see the text. Just click on the pictures to enlarge for easier reading.

His Style, His Sway:
In my opinion... it was a very good 4-hit combo. Read on...
Tommy Koh's 4-hit combo
BY JOFQC
"We, the Yale College Faculty, express our concern regarding the lack of respect for civil and political rights in the state of Singapore, host of Yale-National University of Singapore College…" (Yale College Faculty Resolution, 2012)
In return, Tommy Koh launched a 4-hit combo. One of them appears to be an old favourite:
"In Singapore, unlike the United States, racial and religious harmony are prized above the freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
If there is a contradiction between them, the US would give primacy to the freedom of speech and freedom of the press, whereas Singapore would give primacy to racial and religious harmony.
This does not mean that one side is right and the other side is wrong. What it means is that we are different because of our different histories and circumstances.
It is not fair for the Yale faculty to criticise Singapore for its 'lack of respect for civil and political rights' without acknowledging that it is only 47 years old and that, in that short time, it has transited from the Third World to the First."
Old as it may be, it's never been very clear. Yes, Singapore and US are different in the ways he mentioned. But it doesn't immediately follow that there isn't a right and wrong about it.
Tommy Koh's case rests on Singapore's youth. But I daresay the Yale faculty is aware of our country's age. What did they miss, according to Koh?
It has to be something like this: When a country is young, civil and political rights are reasonably not its priority. There are more pressing matters for a country in its infancy, such as social harmony.
What do you think of his argument?
I think it fails to address the heart of the matter — two crucial issues. Firstly, are the suppression of such rights in Singapore indeed necessary to prevent significant social disharmony? Next, is it morally permissible to remove such rights from members of a society, even if it alternative is significant social disharmony?

Android Phone ~ Music Notation, Pitch Pipe & Metronome
Yesterday, Audrey mentioned about a Phone App that can play the beat.
This App that I've downloaded may be what she's talking about in the Metronome section.
This app is also useful if you want to just type out the rhythm to hear what it sounds like by using the Notation Editor which is for composing songs.
They have...
1 ~ Notation Editor ~ to compose music
2 ~ Pitch Pipe ~ to intone
3 ~ Metronome ~ to keep in time ~ either way, you can set the BPM or just tap and they will tell you what the BPM is/are.
===.
Description ~ Have you ever wanted to compose music on Android? Now you can! Maestro is primarily a music notation editor, but includes a pitch pipe and metronome as well. With the notation editor, you can drag and drop notes directly onto the staff and then have the app play your composition back to you. You can also change the key signature, time signature, and clef, and choose the instrument you want to hear played. It's fast, fun, and easy to use. Maestro is currently in beta testing, and we would appreciate your feedback.

Online Media Converter (Video & Audio)
This is a useful Online Software.
It is very good as it helped me accomplished my objective.
I had a video that I had to rotate. I googled and found out that the Windows Movie Maker (WMM) can do it and I am familiar with it. However, WMM does not load MOV files so I had to convert it to either WMV or AVI files. I googled and found this link.
MOV to WMV
Using this Online converter, I tried converting this MOV file to WMV but I had codec problems which I didn't understand so I had to find another way.
MOV to AVI
I converted it to AVI and it even managed to rotate the Video 90 degrees. However, I still needed to use WMM to boost the audio which was too low.
This link is for Video, but the main link showed that it does other conversion as well... like audio.
MID to MP3
I didn't like the quality coz the drum beats sounded like it was lagging but will have to try again because every file may have different results. The sound quality here was better than another website I tried recently but only the back ground percussion bothered me and I preferred the other converter even though the quality was poorer because the beat wasn't lag-gie and the beat was important for the purpose of teaching Choir parts.

Now aged 12, the son of Nebraska pastor Todd Burpo recounted sitting in Jesus' lap, meeting John the Baptist and his own departed great-grandfather, and having angels sing to him during his near-death experience.

Love ~ A Poem by Akiane Kramarik
Love is never alone
Love is always crowded
Love is the shared self
We cannot own our love
And we cannot teach our love
The longest breath of love
is the shortest distance to heaven
The deepest life is love
The deepest love is an embrace
Love is not rest
Love is peace
Love is the purpose

Akiane Kramarik
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Born: July 9, 1994 (age 17 in 2012)
Mount Morris, Illinois, U.S.
Occupation: painter, poet
Website: artakiane.com
Akiane Kramarik ( /æˈkiːænæ/; born July 9, 1994) is an American poet and artistic prodigy.
Akiane Kramarik was born in Mount Morris, Illinois to a Lithuanian mother and an American father. She is homeschooled.
She is primarily a self-taught painter. However, she states that God has given her the visions and abilities to create her artwork, which is unusual for her family, considering both her parents were atheist at the time (they later converted to Christianity on account of Kramarik's paintings and visions).
Kramarik started drawing at the age of four, advancing to painting at six, and writing poetry at seven. Her first completed self-portrait sold for US$10,000. A portion of the money generated from sales is donated by Kramarik to charities. According to Kramarik, her art is inspired by her visions of heaven, and her personal connection with God. Kramarik's art depicts life, landscape, and people.
At the age of 10, she appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and at the age of 12, on CNN.
