MuseScore ~ Music Notation Software

Have to try this out... (Updates From-Top-Down)

I google for 'best free music notation software' and got this...

Update: 2010Feb03, 1403hrs
Had problems with sound only for the top staff and 'No Sound' for the rest at the bottom. Example, Soprano line got sound while Alto, Tenor & Bass got no sound. These links help solve the problem.

Looks promising but there's a lot to learn. I remembered how long it took for me to learn my last notation software. I feel like returning to the old one but that one will cost a few hundred dollars.

Handy if you want to listen to a document whilst you travel - or just convert a script or screenplay for your MP3 player! Note that the quality is not very good... but hey! it's free! What did you expect?
