Hurry Home ~ Jason Michael Carroll (Lyrics)
He's been sitting by the phone since she left
But it's time for work and he just can't be late
So he grabs his old guitar
And he plays a couple bars on the machine
And then he softly sings
[Chorus]
It doesn't matter what you've done, I still love you
It doesn't matter where you've been, you can still come home
And honey if it's you, we've got a lot of making up to do
And I can't hug you on the phone, so hurry home
Well the message light was blinking when he got back
It was an old friend calling cause he just heard the news
He says Man I hope you find her
If I see her I'll remind her that her dad is worried
And want her to know [Chorus]
Well the days dragged by without a word from her
And it looked like she might not be coming back
People said man don't you think it's time to take that old message off
He said no, you never know when she might call
She was just outside a bar in New York City
Her so-called friends had left her all alone
She was scared he wouldn't want her
But she dialed up that old number and let it ring
And then she heard him sing [Chorus]
He walked in just in time to hear her say
Dad, I'm on my way
Sainthood Prayer (For Trials at Work & Home)
We pray for strength & perseverance
In our work place and at home
That we are able to love
As Christ would have loved,
No matter how difficult the situation may be.
Help us to remember that
Christ’s yoke is easy and his burden, light;
And only in understanding
That the yoke is Christ’s love for man
That we will be able to persevere in strength
But in the same breath
We pray that you take this cup from us;
Yet not our will, but yours be done.

Sale of illegal virtual currencies
cause game accounts to be frozen

SINGAPORE: Online hackers have generated enormous amounts of counterfeit virtual currency for a popular on-line game so action has been taken, upsetting innocent gamers in Singapore. In the popular online video game, Maple Story, gamers must slay demons and earn virtual credits. But this month, some were unable to complete their gaming quests after an estimated 1,000 accounts were frozen overnight.
Ng Kok Khwang, marketing director, Asiasoft Online, said: "This is because Nexon, the game developer of Maple Story, has unilaterally decided to ban the accounts due to hacking programmes being used in the game as well as some gold farming issues."
Gold farming is the process by which players earn real money by selling their virtual currencies to other online gamers. In fact, these virtual currencies, also known as Mesos in Maple Story, can be sold at 11 Singapore cents per million Mesos on local gaming forums. But with third-party hacking software, players in China can produce more than ten times the amount of Mesos normally earned through a quest.
Leonard Loo, lawyer, said: "In the case of this computer hacker who uses a program to generate multiple accounts to accumulate points and gold, for example, ... to sell it for money later on - this hacker has actually committed an offence. "The offence punishable is under the computer misuse act, and the hacker can be fined up to S$5,000 or sent to jail for up to two years."
Maple Story has attracted 100 million gamers worldwide and hosts more than a million accounts in Singapore. And one to three per cent of this million use illegitimate ways of earning money through the game. That is a low figure compared to other countries, but Asiasoft has since added patches to the game to trace such offences. - CNA/vm

Singapore Eurasian In Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kristang_people
1ST Source Link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurasians_in_Singapore
The first Europeans to land in Asia were the Portuguese, followed by the Spanish. The Portuguese explorers also ferried the first Jesuit priests to Asia. Their descendants, who are of mixed Portuguese and Chinese/Indian/Malay descent, are collectively known as the Gente Kristang.
This group is characterised by having its own distinctive dialect of Portuguese, the Kristang language, although it is now only spoken by a few, older members of the community.
A number of Macanese people of Chinese and Portuguese ancestry from Macau are also living in the island.
2ND Source Link:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kristang_people
The Kristang are a creole Eurasian ethnic group of people of mixed Portuguese and Malaccan descent based in Malayasia and Singapore. Many people of this ethnicity also have Chinese, Indian and other Asian heritage due to intermarriage, which was common among the Kristang. The creole group arose in Malacca (Malaysia) between the 16th and 17th centuries, when the city was a port and base of the Portuguese. Some descendants speak a distinctive Kristang language, a creole based on Portuguese. Today the government classifies them as Portuguese Eurasians.
The Kristang language is formally called Malacca-Melayu Portuguese Creole, made up of elements of each.[1] The Malay language, or Bahasa Malaysia, as it is now called in Malaysia, has changed to incorporate many Kristang words. For example, garfu is Kristang for "fork" and almari is Kristang for "cupboard"; the Malay language incorporated these Kristang words whole.
Scholars believe the Kristang community originated in part from liaisons and marriages between Portuguese men (sailors, soldiers, traders, etc.) and local native women. The men came to Malacca during the age of Portuguese explorations, and in the early colonial years, Portuguese women did not settle in the colony. Portuguese married mostly women of Malay ethnicity, but also those of Chinese or Indian descent. Today intermarriage occurs more frequently between Kristang and people of Chinese and Indian ethnicity rather than Malay because of endogamous religious laws. These require non-Muslims intending to marry Malay Muslims first to convert to Islam. Eurasians are not always willing to alter their religious and cultural identity in this way. In earlier centuries, Portuguese and local Malays were able to marry without such conversions, because such religious laws did not exist.
The name "Kristang" is sometimes incorrectly used for other people of mixed European and Asian descent presently living in Malaysia and Singapore. This includes people of Portuguese descent who were not part of the historical Kristang community, and people with other European ancestry, such as Dutch or British, who also colonized southeast Asia at one time.
The name comes from the Portuguese creole kristang (Christian), derived from the Portuguese cristão. A derogatory term for the Portuguese-Malaccan community was Gragok (slang term for Portuguese geragau or shrimp, referring to the fact that the Portuguese Malaccans were traditionally shrimp fishermen). The community historically called themselves gente Kristang (Christian people).

Story ~ What Is That, It's A Sparrow
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y381DEn5Ku0
This Greek short film (with English subtitle) was made in 2007.
.
Father and son are sitting on a bench. Suddenly a sparrow lands across them. The old Father asks son, “What is that?” to which the son replies “A Sparrow” and looks back into his newspaper. After sometime his father again asks him “What is that”. A little annoyed, son replies “I just told you father, its a sparrow”.
.
Then, the sparrow flies to the other side and sits there. The father repeats his question “what is that?”. This time, son replies “A sparrow father, a sparrow…s-p-a-r-r-o-w……” and when again the father repeats his question, son is filled with anger and says “Why are you doing this Father? How many times I told you its a sparrow!!!”
.
Father gets up and goes into the house to take his old dairy. He comes back and asks his son to read a passage from the dairy, which goes like this “Today my youngest son, who a few days ago turned three, was sitting with me at the park when a sparrow sat in front of us. My son asked me 21 times what it was and I answered all 21 times that it was a sparrow. I hugged him every single time he asked me the same question again and again without getting mad, feeling affection for my innocent little boy.”

Living Fulfilled Lives
We can’t live a fulfilled life if we do not put anything into our lives to make it fulfilling. Try living without eating & shitting… it’s just impossible. ~ PGA, 20091026, 1034hrs.
A Sinner’s Sermon
The catch-phrase for me today (and has been for some time now) is “A Sinner’s Sermon” or “The Sermon of a Sinner”. My whole life seems to be centered on me getting angry at someone & giving that person a telling off --- or a lecture which sounds very much like a sermon. The person probably deserves it. BUT hearing myself speak, I realize that I’m actually giving myself a sermon as well. I don’t like it --- BUT, I think I deserve it. What goes around --- comes around. ~ PGA

How a movie actress left Hollywood for a contract with God .She gave Elvis Presley his first on-screen kiss, was as beautiful as Grace Kelly and broke box office records.
Dolores Hart a convert to the Catholic Church recalled that when she and Elvis were supposed to kiss, they blushed. "My ears started getting purple, and even his ears started getting purple,"
she recalls. "They brought everybody over to brush our ears down with, um, paint or whatever it is." (ABC 20/20)
This is an authentic personal relationship with Jesus it's not a lips service or asking people if they have "relationship with Jesus?" You have to live it 24/7.

Something to talk to your colleagues about during lunch. I hope I can bring one or a few home for you if there’s enough.
Ok. The last time I sent you info about Hong Kong cakes you did a wonderful job of remembering & locating it. This one is from Taiwan.
My colleague just came back from Taiwan and gave me this to try. I must say that it’s very nice so if I do get to Taiwan, I must get this. If I know anyone going there, I must recommend this.
It’s not too buttery and the pineapple tart inside is soft and had a texture that’s just right. I don’t know if you can see it in the last picture in this email as you scroll down.
I went to their website (http://www.chiate99.com) but it’s all in Chinese. Anyway here are some pictures & info I found on the internet.

Music ~ Circle Of Fifths
C at the top of the circle has no sharps and no flats. Circle right to see which key has how many sharps, and circle counterclockwise to see which key has how many flats. Notice the addition of one accidental for each step taken. The key signature notation next to the letter shows where on the staff these accidentals are placed. Each upper case letter on the outside of the circle corresponds to the key signature, and the lower case, inner circle, letter connected to it denotes that key's relative minor, which of course is written in the same key. It's certainly less complex than this explanation would indicate. You'll notice that as you move clockwise from C to shining C you are traveling in fifths, i.e., G is a fifth to C, D a fifth to G, etc.; and as you travel counterclockwise you circle down in fifths. Even as you continue passed the sharps and into the flats you still travel in fifths ~F# being a fifth to B, and so forth. You'll also remember that you add one accidental for each step in either direction.
