These are my version of the lyrics.
I've been using these lyrics for so long... I ain't about to change it.

It's a Sin to Tell a Lie
~ Somethin' Smith and the Redheads (Lyrics)

Be sure it's true... when you say... I love you
It's a sin... to tell... a lie...
Millions of hearts... have been broken
Just because these words... were spoken
I love you... yes I do... I love... you
If you break... my heart... I'll die
So be sure... it's true... when you say... I love you
It's a sin... to tell... a lie...

Cross my heart and I hope to die
I'll never, never, never tell another white lie
I took a little doll out on a date last night
You put a frog next to her and she looks alright
Now I'm between the devil and the deep blue sea
Coz I said girl, you look good to me
I told her I loved her, but oh how I lied
Now she's getting stuck to be my blushing bride
And as she walks to the altar... I'm sorry
Coz I can't tell the preacher I was drunk
So Lord have mercy on an old common sinner
Give me one more chance to let another guy win her
Cross my heart and I hope to die
I'll never, never, never tell another white lie

Joke ~ More or Less!

Nice comic timing. A joke always helps in long speeches. Note that the joke is only in the last 2 sentences while she was serious about everything else.

"Everyone agrees that we should have a clean wage system. However I find that whenever there is a discussion on a clean wage, there are always distorted comparisons with other countries. The Workers' Party mentioned that their proposals were derived after reviewing the remuneration systems in 12 developed economies, including the UK and the US. As these are the two most often cited as examples of where the PM, Ministers and President have lower salaries than the Singapore ministers, I thought it worthwhile to examine the politicians' remuneration packages in these 2 countries in a bit more detail. You will see that in these countries, political office is not only a privilege, but also about privileges. In fact, our more is less, and their less is more, more or less!"

~ an excerpt of MP Indranee Rajah's speech on ministers' pay, AsiaOne, Thursday, Jan 18, 2012

Quote ~ Good Pay

She writes and speaks well.

I like this statement she made which is in the last sentence of the 3rd last paragraph of her speech on the ministerial pay review delivered at the Parliamentary debate on political salaries on January 18, 2012.

===.
"People do not object to good pay when they feel it is well-earned,
and if they feel that a minister is really working hard for the people.
Where they get upset is if they feel someone gets a good pay
just because he or she happened to land the job of a minister, and
they do not see a real and visible effort on the part of that person."

Quote ~ If they've done it once before...

This is a warning for all wives-to-be.

This could also be a warning for all girlfriends as well.

Be careful and watch out for early warning signs.

Anyway... this American Presidential Hopeful... is still hopeful...
poor fella... he doesn't stand a chance... mark my words.

there is always a high possibility
that they will do it again... & again."
